Brazilian Robotic Team

The Brazilian Robotic Team (Seleção Brasileira de Robótica - SBR) is the union of the Brazilian teams classified to the RoboCup world tournament. This selection can be compared to a national Olympic team, which represents the country in the Olympic Games with athletes from different places and teams in the Olympic categories in which these athletes (individually or in a team) conquer a classification. In the same way, the robotic teams from many Brazilian teaching and research institutions joined around a single national team, the Brazilian Robotic Team, which represents the country - and not only their institutions - in the world tournament. More than to represent the country as a national team, the Brazilian Robotics Team is also working as a single team, bringing together researchers, professors and students from many Brazilian institutions to exchange knowledge and to improve Brazilian situation in the world competitions.
